Classroom And Technology In Our Term Paper

Classroom and Technology

In our advanced technology today, there is no wonder that most of the classrooms in elementary combine their curriculum with technology. School administrators are investing billions in new hardware, software and professional staff development. This will be very beneficial to both the teachers and the students. Teachers will be given the strategies and skills that they need to prepare for the day's lessons. Technology is a powerful tool to maximize the students' potential to learn. Students develop their ability to take ownership of their own learning. Given the wide array of resources they can get through the internet-based libraries, the students' self-confidence will be built. Teachers are then challenged to use computers in many different ways such as to create multiple opportunities for students to use the technology and to develop their skill; hence, they will also reap the reward of seeing their students meet their expectations and even excel to a higher extent.

Let us consider the technology explosion that is being experienced by Easton Area School District. The school administration is headed toward the preparation of their students' future in the information technology. They have made careful and thorough planning, with constant communication and commitment to raise the technological bar of the school. All members, administrators, and teachers were provided with laptops so that they could familiarize themselves and adopt with the technological life that their students do each day. Together with the extensive trainings of staff members, the school was able to effectively integrate technology into all curricular areas. It was followed by the provision of other technology that is necessary for the integration and learning. Years thereafter, it was noticed that the elementary students excel and take ownership in their work. They also become responsible individuals. The school continues to envision the initiative by expanding the technology throughout other schools.
